A common scenario you may be facing as you plan your wedding…

Your wedding will be held in your home town. A couple of your groomsmen live in other states. They are unable to travel to the Jim’s Formjfw_outoftown_gmal Wear Retailer who is handling the tuxedos for your wedding to be measured. How do they get measured for their tuxedo if they are arriving the day before the wedding?

Don’t worry! You can solve this problem by downloading the Out-of-Town Groomsmen Measurement Form. Use the form as a tool to collect the tux measurements for the gentlemen in your wedding who are too far from your chosen Jim’s Formal Wear Retailer to be measured. All the measurements needed for the tuxedo order are listed on the form.

Follow these simple steps to conveniently collect your gentlemen’s measurements:

A quick way to share a copy of the form with your groomsmen is to send them a link to this webpage. They can visit the page themselves and download and print a copy to have in hand.

If you have a groomsman who does not have access to the Internet, you can download and print a copy of the form and drop it in the mail. Consider downloading a copy of the form yourself so you may become aware of the measurements needed for a tuxedo order.

jfw_locationsHave your gentlemen visit us at Lake Norman Bridal or one of Jim’s Formal Wear Retailers to get measured – there are over 5,000 Authorized Jim’s Formal Wear Retailers nationwide – six times the number of any other tuxedo rental source!

If a Jim’s Formal Wear Retailer is not close, a professional tailor or menswear shop is a good alternative and their store staff will likely be skilled in taking measurements. Once your gentlemen have their measurements taken and the form has been completed, have them send the form and the measurements to you. Collect the measurement information using whatever method is most convenient for you – a phone call, an email, a text message, a fax, etc…

Next, submit the measurements to Lake Norman Bridal at least four to six weeks before your formal affair. Your Jim’s Formal Wear Retailer will pick up the tuxedo ordering process from here!

TO QUALIFY FOR THIS OFFER

The Ring Bearer must be accompanied by the groom’s tuxedo rental and five fully paid rentals in the wedding party. Most of the Ring Bearer Program styles shown here are compatible with many of our designer named tuxedos. Tiny details like the number of buttons are rarely noticed on boys’ tuxedos. Therefore, you can enjoy the savings on the ring bearer’s tux no matter which tuxedo you choose for your gentlemen. All other tuxedo styles from Jim’s Formal Wear are available at regular rental prices for Ring Bearers in sizes from 3-16. Ring Bearer’s tuxedo may not exceed size 16.

Tips for Success:

Have a professional take your measurements! Do not have a friend or relative measure you! Rather, have your gentlemen go to an Authorized Jim’s Formal Wear Retailer to have measurements taken. These stores have been trained to measure properly to ensure a great fitting tuxedo. If a JFW Retailer is not close, a professional tailor or menswear shop is certainly a good alternative. (Please be aware that some retailers may charge a small fee for measurement services). Current measurements are the most accurate! Even though a gentleman may have been measured for a tuxedo recently, measurements can and do change. It’s wise to be measured again.
